thanks for letting me know Still it wouldn't harm to update to Log4j 16.0 as recommended by cyber security experts at Praetorian. I have tried turning around 3 times with one hand on my head and one on my tummy. Forge needs to update to using Log4j 16.0 instead of 15.0. That naugghty little jar justs sits there and will not dance for me. On Windows, you can fix the problem with Jarfix. The file in the unzipped file shows as a 'Jar' file instead of an exe. Some users have fixed the problem successfully with this method, and you can also have a try.
